Nicole Buono earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Mount Saint Mary’s University, where she was part of the Delta Epsilon Sigma Honor Society and Phi Delta Phi National French Honor Society. Nicole was president of the University’s French Club and was actively involved with Habitat for Humanity. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Special Education from Quinnipiac University. She has taught elementary and middle school-aged children for over 12 years, homeschooled her four children, and tutors privately. After her first child received an autism diagnosis in 2015, Nicole had to learn how to navigate the educational realm in a new way. Nicole is passionate about helping other families get the support they need for their children and themselves. Her personal and professional experiences have equipped her with the knowledge and passion for changing the educational experience for others.
