I have been in various classrooms teaching since 2012. My experiences include working with students with disabilities, being a member of the Response to Intervention Team, and being a resource teacher for grades K-6. I have taught Math, Science, Social Studies, Phonics and ELA. In addition, I taught Character Education as well as Science, Engineering and Art to elementary students. My philosophy of education is that with the right support and strategies, all students can learn.
I hold a Master's Degree in Inclusive Education with an additional certification of Teacher of Students with Disabilities. I also took Orton Gillingham’s 30-hour training. I will bring all of the knowledge gained throughout my years in education to create a positive and fun learning experience for every child.
Fun facts: I volunteer with kids and teenagers with special needs. I have a 10-year old Yorkie named Marco. I can speak some Italian.
